Crab cakes at night

Good morning

Falling a bit behind with these blogs, the days are busy and I don't always have a good wi-fi connection and by the time we finish in the evening I don't have the energy. Getting close to the meeting now, the international group is already at the centre and I think the prioresses go this evening. We were over yesterday setting up the equipment but it was a struggle and their connections would not match with ours anyway we eventually got things worked out and hopefully it will work well. Today we are meeting to finalise the newer members report, Celia has done most of the work so it's just to make sure it all knits together. Marie Helen and Gloria arrive tomorrow I haven't heard much from them although Claire assures me they are having a great time and that Marie Helen's talk went well. OK that's all for now we have another trial for some communities in  half an hour so better get set up. We are in the 80's here but I am sitting with my jacket on as the air conditioning is so cold! You can't win. Love to all hope you are all well.

Working away

Good moring, or is it good afternoon? Sorry for no communication yesterday, eventually went to bed around 11.00pm lot of work setting up this new system and getting all the equipment to work together, I think we have the practice session this afternoon so we may see you then, you at least will see us. We have an online meeting this morning with the man from Zoom - no Dorothy not the man from UNCLE! so I hope he will help us iron out any difficulties. We have invited a few UK carmels to participate in the group work and Dysart is taking part which is great - good old Scotland! No word from the others yet but hopefully they will accept. We also asked Jennifer in Australia and can you believe she is going to get up in the middle of the night to participate - now that is dedication! Lucia from the Netherlands with Fr. Dick arrived last night so the house is filling up - Hilary too (can't remember her community but she was at the newer members meeting). I'll post now and get along to breakfast, it's an unstructured day today so nothing together - except food I hope. Will post some photos from the phone but nothing new to show you so far.

Journey

Great journey, only problem was at Heathrow, the Glasgow flight was delayed, went to another terminal and we had to go through security again, I had to leave the others and run was last one on they were just closing the flight. Was a great flight though, the plane was empty so loads of room. Celia met me, we went for something to eat so it was late when we got back, haven't seen many of the community yet. Didn't hear anything from the others, hope they made it.
